ISO / TS-16949 Certification

Seal Methods Inc. is an ISO / TS-16949 registered company. Our quality assurance department is trained to meet the stringent requirements of ISO certification. ISO / TS-16949 is a technical qualification that ensures the continual improvement of quality management systems, prevention of defects in components and systems, and adherence to international standards for quality assurance. It is based on the ISO 9001 standard first published in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and was prepared by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and the Technical Committee of the ISO. The first version of the ISO / TS-16949 was published in 1999 as ISO/TS 16949:1999.

This certification uses an international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system that help an organization:

  1. Demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs and requirements of customer and applicable statutes and regulations
  2. Enhance customer satisfaction by improving the system and assuring conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

These international standards are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its size or the products and services it provides.
