2020 has been quite a ride! Seal Methods Inc has been through many challenges in our 46-year history, but nothing like the global pandemic caused by COVID-19. However, WE’RE HERE! The SMI family has taken this challenge and shown each other and our customers what we can do when pushed near our limits.
SMI has been a leader in safety, coordinating plans to help keep our teams healthy and working through COVID-19 in the best way possible. We are using masks, face shields, and temporary dividers throughout the facility while taking temperatures before entering the building. We have also set up home offices when possible. We may have limited your ability to visit one of our CA plants, but make no mistake, there is a lot of work going on inside. Our team is here and motivated to move in a positive direction. We have pivoted our manufacturing capabilities to produce thousands of face shields necessary for Personal Protective Equipment. This has helped communities stay safe and also helped keep our team working during this economic shift.
We are seeing our production schedule return towards normalcy and our sales team is eager to help with any applications or projects you might have. We can call, email, video chat, or even meet in person when feasible. Our team will certainly practice safety measures with clean hands, a safe distance, and a mask.
